Variety Victoria and SHINE announce official partnership
2 October 2017
SHINE is thrilled to officially announce our partnership with Variety Victoria – The Children’s Charity to deliver our intensive January program in 2018.
The VSIP is a multidisciplinary, evidence-based language-learning disability program; providing all kids with the assessment, clinical therapy and resources to overcome LLDs.
The program runs for three weeks in January and is held at Port Phillip Specialist School in Port Melbourne.
For 20 years SHINE has delivered its specialised, evidence-based multidisciplinary program to Victorian students, and to date has provided clinical screening, assessment and programs for over 22,000 students, both in-school and holiday programs.
The partnership with Variety Victoria now ensures SHINE programs can reach even more children throughout the state.
Schools, clinicians and families are encouraged to apply collaboratively or on behalf of individual students. SHINE can assist with assessment and testing if required.
Applications close on 1 December 2017 assuming students have all assessments in place and meet criteria.
